Arrival & Access

Building & Apartment Access

Step 1: Arrival and Building Entry
If arriving via rideshare:
Enter Mint House through the revolving doors beneath the flag, located between Black Fox Coffee and Blue Park Kitchen. Follow the signs marked “Mint House” to our lobby, where a property host will greet you, assist with registration, and answer any questions. Luggage carts are also available in the lobby for your convenience.

 

If driving:
On-site parking is not available at 70 Pine. However, Mint House partners with iPark to offer discounted rates at the following nearby public garages (first come, first served):

 

iPark at 9 Cedar Street
-Weekdays: 6 AM – Midnight
-Weekends: 7 AM – Midnight

 

iPark at 201 Pearl Street
-Open 24 hours

 

Please note that parking does not include in-and-out privileges, and there is no loading zone on Pine Street.

 

Step 2: Elevator Access
Elevators are secured and require a unique access code to reach the guest room floors. This code will be provided upon your arrival.

 

Step 3: Apartment Entry
At your apartment door, enter the 4-digit code included in your arrival details.

Parking

Parking Information

There is no on-site parking available at this property. For guests traveling with a vehicle, we recommend using one of our partner iPark garages located nearby. Discounted rates are available on a first-come, first-served basis:

 

iPark at 9 Cedar Street
Weekdays: 6 AM – Midnight
Weekends: 7 AM – Midnight

 

iPark at 201 Pearl Street

Open 24 hours

 

Please note these garages do not offer in-and-out access—each reentry will incur a new charge.

 

There is no loading zone on Pine Street, so we recommend arriving directly at the garage before making your way to the building.

Apartment Features

WiFi & TV

Mint House provides complimentary WiFi throughout your stay, with access available both inside your apartment and in shared spaces throughout the building.

Your apartment is equipped with a smart TV that provides access to popular streaming apps and services. Live cable channels are not available.

Towels & Linens

Your room is stocked with towels and linens for each guest. Additional bath towels can be found under the bathroom vanity.

 

For units with a sofa bed, linens, pillows, and a blanket are located in the primary closet.

Thermostat

Your apartment is equipped with an Ecobee smart thermostat.

 

To adjust the temperature:

-Tap the screen to wake the thermostat.
-Use the up (+) or down (–) arrows on the right side of the screen to set your desired temperature.

 

To change modes:
-Tap the Menu icon (three horizontal lines or gear icon).
-Select System to switch between Heat, Cool, Auto, or Off.

 

To adjust the fan:
-From the Menu, select Fan.
-Choose Auto (runs as needed) or On (runs continuously).

Kitchen

The kitchen is fully equipped with cookware, glassware, dishware, and utensils. Dishwasher pods and additional trash bags are provided under the kitchen sink, with extra available upon request.

Laundry

Not all accommodations have a washer/dryer, but we offer both valet and self-service laundry options.

 

Valet Laundry
A laundry bag with instructions is provided in your closet. Complete the order form and bring the bag to the Front Desk.

 

Self-Service Laundry
Available on the sixth floor next to apartment No. 605. Simply swipe your debit or credit card (chip facing out) to start.

Stay Services

Housekeeping

At Mint House, we care about your comfort and the environment, so we offer housekeeping options designed to fit your needs.​

 

Daily Room Refresh (Complimentary)​
Every day, unless you hang the “later” Do Not Disturb sign on your door, we’ll refresh your room. This includes replacing towels left on the floor, emptying trash, restocking soaps and toilet paper, and making the bed with the linens you have.​

 

Full Cleaning Service​
If you want a deeper clean, you can request a full cleaning. This covers everything in the daily refresh plus vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, changing towels and linens, and replenishing all room amenities. This service is available by request and costs:​
-$65 for studios and one-bedroom suites​
-$75 for two-bedroom suites​

 

When you book a full cleaning, the daily refresh will still be provided on other days of your stay.​

Packages & Mail

You are welcome to have packages/mail delivered during your stay. Please address them as follows to ensure proper delivery:

Once delivered, our property host will hold your package at the front desk for pickup at your convenience.

Trash

Refuse rooms are located in the middle of the hallway near apartments ending in “10” on floors 3 through 6.

 

Please ensure all trash is securely bagged, and break down any cardboard boxes before placing them in the recycling chute. Thank you for helping us keep the building clean and comfortable for all guests.

Food Delivery

You’re welcome to order delivery during your stay. When your driver arrives, please meet them in the Mint House lobby.

Building Amenities

Fitness Center – AREA at 70 Pine​

Guests of Mint House have access to AREA, the full-service fitness center located on the basement level (Floor B) of 70 Pine. The facility features premium cardio and strength-training equipment, along with spacious areas for stretching and functional workouts.​

Hours of Operation:​
Monday – Friday: 6:00 AM – 9:00 PM​
Saturday & Sunday: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM​

To enter, check in with the gym concierge and provide your name and room key, access is limited to registered guests. Personal training sessions and group fitness classes are available for an additional fee.

Coworking Space​

Located on the 2nd floor and accessible 24/7, this versatile space is ideal for working, meeting, or taking a break. It’s available on a first-come, first-serve basis for everyday use and offers a comfortable, flexible environment for guests.​

 

The space can also be reserved for private events accommodating up to 45 guests. To inquire about reserving the space, click here.

Marble & Brass Business Center​

Located on the 3rd floor and open 24/7, the Marble & Brass Business Center offers a mix of flexible workstations, a private phone booth, and comfortable spaces to relax or recharge. Whether you’re taking a meeting, catching up on emails, or simply looking for a quiet corner, the space is available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Doherty and Pulitzer Boardroom​

Located on the 4th floor, the Doherty and Pulitzer Boardroom is designed for meetings, focused work, or small group collaboration. The room seats up to six people and includes a screen-sharing TV, high-speed Wi-Fi, and all the essentials for a productive session.​ To inquire about reserving the space, click here.

Crown Shy​

On the ground floor of 70 Pine, Crown Shy offers Michelin-starred dining by Chef James Kent. Expect bold, seasonal dishes in a refined space that blends modern and Art Deco design.​

Dinner served nightly from 5:00 PM. Smart casual attire suggested. Reservations recommended. Click here for availability.

Overstory​

Above SAGA on the 64th floor, Overstory is a rooftop cocktail bar with sweeping city views and expertly crafted drinks served on a wraparound terrace.​

SAGA​

Located on the 63rd floor, SAGA is a fine dining experience with panoramic views and a Mediterranean-inspired tasting menu, also from Chef James Kent. The intimate setting feels more like a private residence than a restaurant.​

Open Tuesday–Saturday. Elevated attire recommended. Reservations are required. Click here for availability.

Black Fox Coffee​ ​

Located just off the main lobby of 70 Pine, Black Fox Coffee serves specialty coffee, teas, and light bites in a bright, modern space. Known for their expertly sourced beans and seasonal drinks, it’s a great stop for your morning coffee or a mid-day pick-me-up.​

Open daily from 7:00 AM. No reservations needed.

Blue Park Kitchen​

​Located on the ground floor of 70 Pine, Blue Park Kitchen serves wholesome grain bowls, salads, and seasonal plates made fresh to order. It’s a go-to spot for a quick, healthy lunch.​

Open Monday–Friday from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM.

City Acres​ ​

Conveniently located on the ground floor of 70 Pine, City Acres offers a full-service grocery, prepared foods, and a curated selection of everyday essentials. Perfect for stocking your suite or grabbing a quick bite.​

Open daily from 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM.

House Rules

Occupancy & Quiet Hours

To help ensure a comfortable experience for all guests and residents, we kindly ask that you observe the following occupancy limits:

 

Classic Queen/Studio/Studio Plus – 2 people
Studio Deluxe – 4 people
Junior One Bedroom/One Bedroom, One Bathroom/One Bedroom Plus, Two Bathroom – 4 people
One Bedroom Deluxe – 6 people
Two Bedrooms – 6 people

 

As this is a residential building, please be mindful of our quiet hours from 9:00 PM to 9:00 AM. Loud gatherings and parties are not permitted. Violations may result in penalties or eviction, as outlined in our fee schedule.

Pet Policy

We’re delighted to welcome you and your dog to Mint House. To help ensure a pleasant stay for all guests, we kindly ask that you review the following guidelines:

 

Pet Registration: All pets must be registered before the time of check-in. Please complete our Pet Registration Form to confirm your pet’s details.

 

Pet Fee: A non-refundable pet fee of $100 per stay for 1 – 27 nights, or $100 per month for reservations 28+ nights will be charged to your account. Additional charges may apply if additional cleaning is required.

 

Unregistered Pets: Guests who do not register their pet are subject to the following:
-$500 unregistered pet fee
-$150 additional cleaning fee if the pet stayed in a non-designated pet-friendly room
-Charges for any damages as outlined in our fee schedule

 

Acceptable Pets: We welcome well-mannered dogs but reserve the right to request removal of any pet displaying disruptive behavior (biting, excessive barking, etc.). Maximum of two (2) pets per room. (Dogs permitted only)

 

Breed Restrictions (aggressive breeds not permitted):
-Doberman Pinscher
-Pit Bull
-Rottweiler
-Chow Chow
-Wolf Dogs & Hybrids

 

Pet Control: Pets must be leashed or caged in all public areas.

 

Housekeeping & Maintenance: Our team will only enter your room if:
-Your pet is not present, or
-You are present and can monitor your pet (dogs must be leashed), or
-Your pet is securely caged

 

Damage Policy: Any damage caused by your pet will be charged to your account for repair or replacement as outlined via our fee schedule.

 

Compliance & Violations: Guests who fail to register their pets before check-in or do not comply with this policy may be subject to additional fees and revocation of their stay without a refund as outlined via our fee schedule. Any violations or disruptions caused by a pet, including excessive noise or aggressive behavior, may also result in the guest’s stay being revoked.

Smoking Policy

All Mint House properties are smoke-free environments. Smoking, of any kind, is not permitted within or outside of our apartments, including balconies, patios, or common areas. Smoking is only permitted in the parking lot away from the entry door by the smoking receptacle. Any sign of smoking in prohibited areas is a violation of our stay agreement. Please refer to our fee schedule for more details.
