How do I reserve an apartment with Mint House?

You can book your stay with Mint House directly at minthouse.com—whether it’s for one night or several months.

Just choose your destination, select your travel dates, and browse real-time availability with our best available rates.

For corporate travel or group bookings, special discounts may be available—reach out to our sales team for personalized rates.

Booking directly through Mint House gives you added flexibility if your plans change.

How do I gain access to my apartment?

After booking your stay, you’ll receive two emails from Mint House.The first will arrive immediately and includes a summary of your reservation along with a link to complete your Virtual Check-In.

Once your Virtual Check-In is complete, you’ll receive a second email 18 hours before check-in (local time) with everything you need to access your apartment and building amenities.

What is the Virtual Check-In?

The Virtual Check-In is a quick, secure pre-screening process required before your stay. It helps ensure the safety of all guests and staff.

We strongly recommend completing it in advance to avoid any delays—you won’t receive your check-in instructions until the Virtual Check-In is complete.

How do I receive my day of arrival details (check-in instructions)?

Your check-in instructions will be emailed to you 18 hours before your scheduled arrival (local time), using the email address provided at booking.

To receive these instructions, you must first complete your Virtual Check-In. If it’s not complete, you won’t be able to access your room.

Can I request an early check-in?

Standard check-in time is 3:00 PM.

We understand you may be arriving early. If you’d like to request early check-in, please text us at 1-646-846-7374 or call 1-855-972-9090 on the day of arrival to see if your room is ready.

Please note: Early check-in is not guaranteed and can only be confirmed on the day of your stay.

If you’d like to guarantee access to your room before 3:00 PM, we recommend reserving the night prior to your arrival.

Can I request a late checkout?

Late check-out is available upon request and based on availability.

To ensure a great experience for both current and incoming guests, we handle late check-outs on a case-by-case basis.

I noticed an additional hold of $200.00 on my account, can you explain what this charge is for?

The $200.00 charge is a refundable security deposit.

Because our accommodations are fully equipped apartments, we require a USD $200.00 security deposit per reservation.

This hold will automatically renew every seven days until your departure, unless it’s used to cover incidental charges.

Please note: the hold typically expires within 7–10 business days after your departure, depending on your bank’s processing time.

I completed my virtual check-in; now what?

Once you’ve completed your Virtual Check-In and provided a credit card for the security deposit, no further action is needed.

Your check-in instructions will be sent to your email 18 hours prior to your arrival, local time.

Is parking available?

Parking is available at most Mint House locations, either onsite or at a nearby recommended garage.

If you need to change your reservation dates, we’re here to help.

If you booked through a third-party site or travel agency, please contact them directly to make changes to your reservation.

Does Mint House have onsite staff?

Many Mint House locations have onsite staff, though availability and hours vary by property.

While not all properties have 24-hour onsite staffing, our Virtual Guest Care team is available 24/7. You can reach them anytime by texting 1-646-846-7374 or calling 1-855-972-9090.
